I feel terrible. I really didn't mean to scare you, but I must admit to sharing those feelings. I keep visualizing seals about the size of dogs and don't want to take a chance. We really should find a good, safe place to have a romp. It has been way too long.

We will not be at the Hollywood Beach, Custer Street beach this weekend.

The dock jumping lake is south of Griffin Road behind Bass Pro Shops off Ravenswood Rd/Angler Blvd.
Check it out at www.p-pups.com. We drove out to see it yesterday, it was not open at the time we were there, but it did look clean. It has a small beach area for dogs to swim. There are pics and more info on the web site.

I don't know a good way to say this without feeling ridiculous, but I am concerned about sharks at that time of day. Late afternoon to evening is feeding time and we watched a t.v. show about sharks coming in to two feet of water.
There was also an article in the Sunday paper two weeks ago about a new
dog park that has a lake and a ramp for dogs to jump into the lake. We lost the paper and are not sure where the park is, but think it may be in the Hollywood area. It looked like a great place to go.
I hope you all will forgive me for being an "over-protective" mom.
