Lizette, wow, I knew that Molly had just arrived but did not know that you were "expecting" again! What fun you are going to be having at your house! Congratulations! Hope to see you and your babies once you all get your feet on the ground. Oh, and Hogan's mom and dad need to get on to DoodleKisses too.

I'm so glad you plan to come Tom and Valri! Cool - it will be so good to see you again! So far this is the best I can estimate as far as attendence - Helen, Bob/and me, Cami, Zach and maybe Phyllis/Duncan and Ali and of course our doodle-kids! It's so sweet of you to offer to bring refreshments and stuff! No rain is allowed tomorrow afternoon!

Hi To All,
I am friends with a couple of you already from this group, but wanted to join the Houston group for sure. Molly lives on Lake Conroe ...northern part of Houston. Molly is a second generation goldendoodle we adopted from Spring Creek. Her parents are Poet and Sunny. We just adopted Nestle from Noble Vestal Labradoodles. Nestle is a chocolate Austrailian Multigen Labradoodle that will be joining us after the holidays. Molly is 13 weeks and Nestle is 16 weeks old. Hope to meet some of you in the future. I am looking for a puppy training class to enroll Molly in...so any advice would be appreciated. I also struggle with her extremely finicky eating habits and joined the Food Group. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. All the Best fr Molly and Lizette in Conroe, TX
PS I look forward to meeting some of you at a future get together...how much fun can that be!!!! Molly has a brother, Hogan, that lives in the Galleria. I want to get Molly out soon and meet other dogs..our vet suggested we wait till she had her thrid shot on Dec. 13th.

Hi Helen!
It looks like you, us, Cami, Zach and maybe Phyllis/Duncan and Ali. Two or more make a romp so we should have a good time! Hope we have okay weather. We'll be missing Michelle and Sara - I think they would like be with us but cannot this time. I haven't heard from the rest. Maybe I'll send out a message again. See ya!

Hi Sara,
I am so sorry to hear about your father being so ill - that is hard. I'm so glad you'll get to go visit him - he'll love seeing you I know. Sorry you'll miss our rompings though. I do hope we'll have several doodles and doodle lovers show up. Maybe your hubby and kids will come - that would be great!
I wish I could help with a recommendation of a boarding place near you. We have not even left Toby yet so I don't know of ANY first hand. You might check with Tom and Valri. They live in your area and might know of someplace.

Just so everyone knows - we've got our romp planned for 2:30 PM Saturday the 29th of November at at Millie Bush Bark Park. It seems like a good date and time from the feedback here. Hope you all can make it! Info has been sent to each member, I hope, and can also be found under under EVENTS. Here is the park info:
Millie Bush Bark Park
Location: West Houston, near Hwy 6 and Westheimer in George Bush Park at 16756 Westheimer Parkway.

They are both great parks though and we are excited to meet more doodles. Hopefully Finley will stick around long enough to play. She is still a puppy and can be found running from her own shadow from time to time!

HI! I think the afternoon on the 29th sounds great. I don’t care where we go. But I have been to both Congressman Bill Archer Bark Park and the Millie Bush Bark Park and I think the Congressman Park is better. It is larger (the largest in Houston) with much more shade. Also the back end of the park is seldom crowded.
