@Frannie and Jodi,Thanks for the sympathy, not my first time but it doesn't get any easier.Frannie, I know for a fact that I said much worse than that to my gastro doc. The valium and demerol they gave me wasn't enough.

@Donna - the prep is the WORST. I have much more experience with colonoscopies than I care to and feel for you!
Drink white grape juice out of a white wine glass and pretend! And enjoy the Versed (sp?) they'll give you for the procedure. Reasonably sure that I told my gastro "you're so cute" while on that stuff.

Donna, good luck with your colonoscopy. I had one in September, piece of cake, the prep is the worst part. As far as clear liquids go, I can neither confirm nor deny that I drank white wine that night...

What happened to wine and whine, I need to whine. In the process of doing the prep for a colonoscopy tomorrow, it's always nice to have something to look forward to. Haven't eaten since yesterday and all I can think about is food. Only allowed to have clear fluids, wait a sec, white wine is a clear fluid. Maybe this is not so bad afterall. At least Quincy is keeping me company so it's not all bad.

Guinness keeps running in and out of the bedroom. He won't get on the bed if I'm not there. I suspect this is a hint that he thinks it's time to snuggle. Big Murph must be down with Dad watching football. Looks like I need to go watch the Golden Globes too and make Guinness happy!

@Jane - that's HILARIOUS. I understand. My place does a leg massage and salt rub and I love that so much that I could care less if they ever touch my feet. HOWEVER...I did recently try a new massage place and at the end of massaging my legs/feet they rubbed my feet with peppermint oil and and wrapped them in hot towels. It was insanely amazing. I need to go back there.
