I am also very anxious to see my own sheepadoodle. I have been looking at them for the past few years. When Groucho Too died, I thought we could wait for the sheepadoodle but Charlie said a year was too long to have Harpo without his companion, hence Zeppo. So you know about "Heartdogs'? They are the dog that stays in your heart forever. Hondo was my heartdog. Today is the anniversary of Groucho Too going over the bridge, and I buried his ashes in the garden but cannot bring myself to bury Hondo's ashes. Funny how it is just so hard to let go of some dogs.
Actually not such a brood now. Hondo and Groucho Too have both passed over the rainbow bridge, leaving us with Harpo who was very depressed so we got him a pup (his choice) to keep him company. So only two dogs now and I will be getting another (a sheepadoodle) later this year.
The photos of Hondo begin on page 7 of my photos. He is the large brown labradoodle. Groucho Too is the phantom goldendoodle and Harpo is the brown ALD. Zeppo is the newest member of the family and he is the white Jackapoo (Jack Russell/poodle).
Looks like you're on top of everything! Just enjoy the moment !
Countdown is almost over!! Only one more day to go !! Excited for you guys!
Actually Maggie is more the coloring of my labradoodle, Hondo. He was more red and the color of Honduras Mahogany (hence the name Hondo). He got lighter with age but was a pretty color as a puppy. They all change so much, you will be surprised, so just be sure to take a lot of photos.
Maggie is a great name. I'm sure you will really enjoy her. Phantom refers to the coloring. My goldendoodle was black with white on his face, eyebrows, and feet. Take a look at the photos on my page and you can meet all my doodles. Because of his white eyebrows, we named him Groucho Too (his father was also named Groucho). Yes, Harpo was darker as a puppy but he had a light face and his legs are lighter. I'll send a couple more photos. This was Harpo and Groucho Too on a walk last spring.
Is her name Cabella?
Your puppy looks very much like my ALD. They are the greatest little dogs. Enjoy and keep us posted.
