- About Me:
- I'm in my early 50s and live in a Boston suburb with my husband and our labradoodles, Wally and Charlotte. I'm also the mom of two grown children. I worked as a writer and teacher before becoming lucky enough to retire early. I spend my time with my husband, friends, family, and my furry buddies. I also enjoy cooking, photography, knitting, reading and walking - we take a couple of good walks each day. That's me in a nutshell. Oh, and we're in Cape Cod during the summer and Naples, Florida, for the winter.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Wally is an Australian Labradoodle from Tegan Park in Florida. His birthday is May 21, 2006. His parents are Zimba and Paige. He is extremely friendly and loves everybody and every animal he meets! Charlotte is also an Australian Labradoodle, and is from Heartsong Labradoodles in Kentucky. She was born on June 7, 2012. Her parents are Mattie and Cole. So far, at 11 weeks of age, she's a dream and we love her to pieces! And equally important is that Wally likes her, too.

- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We enjoy going for long walks with friends, and spending time outside. Wally LOVES to play football in our backyard. We also enjoy hiking in the town forest and going to Elm Bank and the Weston Reservoir. Wally really likes to go swimming, especially at Crystal Lake in Orleans on the Cape. When Charlotte is a bit older, I hope to get her out in the world, just like her big brother.

- I do regular brushing, and they go to the groomer every 6-8 weeks.

Yes, I can see from your photos that they are not curly. My ALD, however, is very curly and actually has a rather easy to maintain coat. I keep him cut short after an initial try at having dreads. His hair dreaded very well, but it is a pain to try to keep up. And conditioner is definitely out for us. Sometimes I groom him myself and other times I have the mobile groomer bathe and groom him.

Your Aussie Doods are simply gorgeous...and they look so incredibly sweet. Lucky you! HA! and of course, lucky them. Cute cute cute. A couple of my friends just got aussie's so I will get first hand info on how they fall in love with their babies.

Haha...yes. We get SPAMMERS now and then. If only these spammers would get a feel for their audience they'd realize most of us ARE women and would prefer to see a doodle in a bikini than them ;-) I ban these new members as soon as I see them or someone reports them. If you click on their photos all that will happen is you'll be taken to their DK profile page...
