About Me:: Doodlelover. Pursuing off-leash training and therapy dog training.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Rouser is a golden, lab, poodle mix. His mom is a goldendoodle and his dad is a labradoodle. He was born 5/1/08 and has been extremely easy to train (mostly attributed to his love of food).

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We loved the temperament of the sire and dam and, given that we wanted to raise Rouser to do therapy work, that was the most important issue to us.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Walk, hike, train, and sit around together.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: We do - he has a very easy coat so little needs to be done

Relationship Status:: Married

She is smart, very food motivated, loves people, loves to be petted, and she makes that same "Chewbaca" sound when she gets excited that you commented Rouser makes! Her coat was pretty smooth as a puppy but over the past year she has developed a rough, wavy coat that sheds like crazy. And, she has a little beard just like Rouser. And, just like Rouser, people always comment on her looks and ask if she has Irish Wolfhound in her.

We just sold our house in NV and have moved back to CA permanently. Right now we are living in a little house in the old part of Encinitas. It was our "escape the summer heat of Nevada" for the past 8 years. Although I love this house, it isn't quite big enough for us since we have 5 dogs. So, we are in the process of looking for something a little bigger and with a great big yard.

I think it would be great to re-introduce Tessa to her brother. I believe their father lives in Carmel Valley. I think his name is Raj - have you met him?
