About Me:: I have been breeding Goldendoodles for 4 years now. I have minis and standards and am lucky enough to have a blue merle mini poodle that has allowed me to develop a blue merle Goldendoodle! Talk about an awesome color! I am a nurse by trade and I also have honey bees. Quilting is another one of my passions and just about anything outdoors is fun too! I like walking with the dogs through the woods when the weather is nice.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have two F1A doodles and also have several other fur babies in my tribe. I also have one feathered child, Bonnie that loves to imitate me and the other critters as well. Not sure, but she could be mocking me....

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Non shedding! They are the best temperament and cute too!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: walk in the woods, swimming

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: home or groomers

Riley Doodle's puppy update and Cajun's surgery

Well, its been an exciting week.( And did I mention expensive? ) You may recall I adopted a dachsund recently from the pound with a partially amputated foot. Well, he decided to chew on one of his remaining toes and cause some more vascular damage to the tune of $550. (Someone once told me no good deed goes unpunished. Riley's new babies and Cajun- rescued Dachsund

It has been a big week here at the Pan de Vida household. Our Riley had 9 babies- 3 blue merle, 3 black and 3 gold. Riley didn't want to appear partial to any particular color of puppy so she had 3 of each. All of them are doing well and Riley has adjusted to motherhood quite nicely. The pups are plumping up nicely and for a first time momma, Riley is just like an old pro.

Double Duty- new puppies and a rescue!

Today was a big day over here in my world. Our Riley Doodle had her very first litter- 9 pups total! Mom and babies are all settled in for the big sleep now. 5 females and 4 males.

I had also committed to taking a Dachsund from our local shelter. His kill date would've been today. They couldn't get him placed due to a partial amputation of his front foot.
