- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder, Rescue
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I first heard of Labradoodles when my sister adopted one about two years ago. I saw pictures and heard her rave about her Zoe til I started researching the breed and decided to adopt one myself. Also , I had the opportunity to attend a " Doodle Romp" and the rest is history. Of course I fell completely in love with them. Their temperaments and coats are amazing and how could you resist those eyes and clown antics.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Cuddle, walk in the park, cuddle, obedience classes ( Zeke thinks he's a show dog and Lily is a teacher's pet ), cuddle, sharing Zeke's smile and causing others to do the same, taking the doodles almost everywhere we go and having people compliment their behavior and cute looks, brushing Lily ( she relaxes like she's at the spa ) Watching Jasper's puppy antics (his tail wags like a propeller and he loves to chase it), teaching Jasper all the new things he needs to know (what a smart llittle guy he is). and cuddling (Jasper is a total cuddle buddy & is the kissiest little dog I've ever met!)

- Me most of the time, sometimes a groomer

Happy 2nd birthday to Jasper! This is absolutly the sweetest, not always obedient little dog I've ever met. He is truly my lover boy. After last potty time at night, he warms my pillow while I get ready for bed and always kisses me good night before cuddlling up to my back. Lily & I attended a fund raiser for a local adoption center today. "Doggie Paddle Pool Party" was a great success! Lots of dogs, all shapes & sizes. Availabe for use was an olympic size pool, 3ft kiddie pool, 1ft kiddie pool and a sprinkle park.
This was Lily's first experience in acutally having an opportunity to swim where she couldn't touch bottom. She didn't like it much. We spent most of our time in the 1ft pool and the sprinkle park. She loved the water slide in…

Hey Susan! When I saw your post on the therapy group, and thought how proud you must be of your doods. (You have done a wonderful job :o)) We are enjoying the benefits of therapy visits too. Bisbee has really taken to the children's reading visits (PAWS) and the assisted living has been a real treat too. They are so greatful to pet and hug on B -- it seems to bring a sparkle to their eyes and joy to their hearts. We have heard some great stories too, so I guess it works both ways.
