We rescued Haley from a Los Angeles shelter where she was in danger of being euthanized "because she was too shy to be adopted".  She would cower in back of the pen and never establish contact with prospective adopters.  However, she is lively and animated with us and has established a rapport with Judy and I.  She seems to love playing with our other foster dogs. She's a great little dog.

I was expecting to pick up three female Maltese which were surrendered to us from a puppy-mill in Los Angeles on the afternoon of December 31st.
