J and Riley (and Luna)'s Blog – July 2011 Archive (2)

The recent discussion in the food group about feeding scraps got me thinking about this past weekend.  Luna is never fed while we are eating, and she only gets food that is prepared for her.  She also doesn't get anything if she is begging.

A few months ago, we actively started trying to make sure "Leave it" is a really solid command with Luna.  Our neighborhood is full of kids and there are a lot of stray pieces of toys, candy wrappers and other doggie hazards out on…

We have had Luna for 9 months now, and I do a lot of work from home at my computer. Doing work from home with a puppy can be very distracting, but I am also very thankful that Luna is (generally) a well-mannered puppy.  These are some observations/reflections I have about working from home with our little pup.  I will be working more outside of the home starting in about a month, so I will miss a lot of this!
