Well, first of all... thank you everyone for the wonderful Birthday wishes... it was so nice to get them all this morning. Age does not matter to me in the least... but for some reason I'm feeling quite old. Not really sure why. It seems like every birthday since age 22 has been a hard one for me. I know its pathetic! Today has been a trying day! UHHHGGG! Remington discovered the love for shoes today and how enjoyable it can be to chew them! I went downstairs in the afternoon to find my CROCS chewed to bits! SERIOUSLY! GRRR! He has becoming a trying teenager! I am at my wits end!!!!!!!!!!! What happened to my perfect angel of a puppy??? Please tell me this is just a phase and he'll grow out of it!

It has been a rough week for our family. Dan's uncle passed away Sunday of a massive heart attack at age 56 leaving behind 3 beautiful children and his wife. This was so hard on our family as everyone was extremely close. Then I also found out this past week that 2 of my close friends who recently got pregnant lost their babies... so it has been very sad and hectic around our home as we have been running around trying to help our family get things in order and be with the… Continue

Well everyone, Remington got alone just fine with his neutering. He was a happy camper to come home and be with us after a long day at the vet. He was a little bit sleepy and definitely not his usual self, but he did well and the surgery went smoothly. He is eating and drinking just fine and already having regular bowel movements which is all good signs :) He didn't sleep very well last night and kept getting up and laying down like every hour, but all together we are very pleased with how he… Continue

So today was the big day... Remington Bear's neutering....



Remington woke up around 5 this morning... wanting his mom of course... so I let him jump up on the bed and cuddle with me for the next hour and a half... I wouldn't usually do this, but this morning was different... my little boy was having surgery... his first!!

Dan came home from work tonight and he had stopped by one of our friends home. They have a black labradoodle named Max... I'm sure you remember him from a past blog post. Well, these friends of ours just recently got a little black poodle named Charlie who looks exactly like Max so of course Dan had to go see him. ANYWAYS... Well, I had a great weekend. Not only did I not have to work for the first time in ages I also got to spend good quality time with my doodle!



Brenda from DoodleKisses and I had been talking for some time now about getting together to have our doodles meet.
