Rosco just scared the carp out of me!

We had just finished up a walk and were entering our yard when Rosco attempted to run after something (in the yard). I let the leash go so as not to get pulled on, figuring it was a squirrel. It was pretty dark in the yard, but the squirrel morphed into a cat. Frightened me a little, but assumed the cat would be quick enough to get away ... this 'cat' was was not that quick...just barely staying ahead of him...I started yelling after Rosco "NO" but he was deaf. A Squeaker for Rosco Part 2

In my previous blog we learned the story of Rosco's lost squeaker.

Today, a week later, we made the trip to PetCo again in hopes for a successful match and Clark spotted a little devilish squeaker that looked and sounded to be the same type that he has at home now (the ratted, circling the drain but still living one). We bought it.

Have You Seen my Squeaker?

Since he's de-legged and decapitated the last of two rubber pigs (after 2 years so that's still pretty good!) and his beloved little Wal Mart latex squeaker is circling the drain (intact but getting a bit grimy and thin)...I thought it was time for Rosco to have a brand new noisy toy.

Pillow Hog

At some point last night I vaguely recall my knee pillow (required now that my belly is expanding ever more and I'm forced to sleep on my side) ended up over the side of the bed. I was sure it probably clonked Rosco on the head, since he sleeps next to my side of the bed, but wasn't awake enough to want to check. So I just made do without it. Well at one point later (but still hours before wake up time) I woke up and flashed my phone light onto him to see where my pillow was.
