“Springfield families and local businesses were invited to walk across Veterans Bridge on a late summer night and participate in the 12th Annual Springfield Community BridgeWalk.”
When our good furrends at Olde Towne Pet Resort asked us to join them for an early evening stroll honoring our local veterans and their families, we just couldn’t say no!

Here’s a “jog your memory” test for you…
If you can remember:
BOSCO: the “chocolatey rich thick syrup” you used to flavor your milk and spoon over your ice cream.

“What walks down stairs, alone or in pairs

Do you ever wonder what goes on in a dogs head? I have on many occasions.
Sometimes it seems as if they want to tell me stuff, but because “speech” communication hasn’t quite evolved between us, other means will just have to do.
Not too long ago, Leo taught us the word “stop.” Today he’s decided to share his teaching technique with all of you…

Our six week Agility Class (which turned into nine weeks), came to an end this past Saturday. Between the rain, and Leo’s mystery illness, we were unable to continue our remedial practices during the week, and boy did it show.
After our final session ended, pet parents interested in signing up for the upcoming class gathered to watch an “Agility Demo” and yours truly was asked to perform……

Perhaps when you read this title you were thinking Leo has successfully completed Agility Training. Not yet. Barring clear skies and dry ground we should have our last and final class this Saturday.
When I titled this post: “I’m Certified” I am referring to ones sanity when it comes to her doodles!

Nope! Not me – I’m sleeping just fine, thank you very much…
Well as best I can under the circumstances. Doodle #2 Mr. Leo has been struggling with his new bed.
In Harley’s 4th of July Highlights blog post, I shared excerpts from our shopping experience at the Orvis store in search of new pet beds. We decided to return ours because the subtle fabric I selected just couldn’t hold up to…

There is immense pleasure in the company of young children. I’ve found if you listen intently – they will amaze you every time.
This week I was “amazed” again by a “little person” from across the street named “Hailey”…
Hailey is 7 years old, and has a rather “hefty” vocabulary for her age. Articulate and extremely polite, she is a doll-baby to talk…

It’s no secret that Leo is what one would call a “mission oriented” Doodle!
From the time he raises his head in the morning – till the time it hits the floor from exhaustion at night, he is one busy little dood…
Doesn’t matter where we go, he will grab “Wilson” and follow me EVERYWHERE……

On this day (Aug 1st) a few decades ago, Gladys & Harold were the proud owners (Oops) “parents”of a little baby girl…
The stories I’ve heard describe me as “cute” and “quiet”…
Even though I write about my Mother a great deal, I was – without a doubt,…
