Harley’s mother – a beautiful amber colored golden retriever. His father? A rather large curly copper red poodle. Yet Harley’s coat? White – straight – and fluffy like cotton.…

All my life I’ve hung around my DM (doodle mom), usually about 6 inches from her feet at any given time. Although she knows me pretty well, she doesn’t know everything!

Yes, she’s got some stuff down to a science, like:

• Where my favorite tickle spot is located

Most Saturday’s (weather permitting), DH and I try to incorporate the boys in some type of outdoor activity. Since we’ve become pet parents, this is the way our minds seem to work.

With a myriad of leftover tasks forever undone, I personally wanted to dedicate my Saturday completing a few of them, so I bowed out when Lee came barreling down the stairs rattling off a variety of places we should/could go.

Labor Day weekend, was filled with mixed emotions. My DH and I were invited to share in a birthday surprise for a dear friend living in upstate New York, however, the hotel selected for out of town guests did not allow pets.
