Another summer hair cut

So, after giving Cooper a substantial hair cut a month ago, I decided to give her another one. I had not realized just how hot the summer here in Ontario will be (im used to cool Vancouver and British summers). its not even June and we are having plus 30 degrees C weather...

I have got used to Cooper being shorter (I do love her long fur) and have seem so many cute photos of very short doodles, so thought id go for it! I still cant bring myself to shave her, but she is 1 inch long now. She seemed to have grown alot in the last month, Im sure I cut off several more inches

Don't get too used to the hot weather yet Kaytlin because in Ontario we say - if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute.  Cooper looks sooper!  Love the lighter hair around her face.  Pretty girl!

I think Cooper looks great and you can't tell at all that you were rushing.  I've already noticed that Rooney appears to be affected by the little bit of Spring heat we have had (and it hasn't been much- like 70 degrees is all), so I'm wondering if I'm going to need to cut him shorter for summer too.  He's about due for a face trim which I haven't braved before so I am gathering my courage for that adventure!

Lori, yes i did scissoring, and I was much less careful this time, perhaps because the shape was already there. Cooper was not happy so i did it as fast as i could - the time it took DH to cook up some sausages in the toaster oven. I did not have to do her face, ears, tail or sani area though, just body and legs. She looks miserable in the photos but im sure she feels much cooler
