Bailey has expensive taste !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE...Bank Replaced..yipee!!!!!!!!

I think the picture says it all.....It is either laugh or cry with this one!!  My hubby gave me 150.00 so he wouldn't be carrying it around in his wallet while he went to play golf.  He put it on the couch while I was sitting on the floor brushing Bailey.  I got up and completely forgot about it.  Got on the phone to talk with my mom, then got on the computer to see what was going on with DK....  I glanced over and guess what I see out of the corner of my eye....part of President Grant hanging out of Bailey's mouth.  so I run out and she spits it out and then on the floor I see...you got it...part of Ben Franklin laying on the floor!!!!

 

So I gather up all the pieces and I have them in a baggie...Thank God she doesn't seem to have a taste for either a 100 or 50 or she would have eaten them both LOL

 

My question is. I have all the serial numbers and most of the bills...Do you think if I brought them to the bank they would replace them if I went in and said:  Excuse me sir, but my dog ate my money?

My DH teaches part time at UCLA and about two years ago one of our dog's, probably Tigger, ate a student's paper!  Thank heavens for computers, the student just laughed and emailed the paper to our home.  

At least you don't have to pick through poop for the pieces!

This happened once to my brother's paycheck!  Luckily when he turned in the pieces, the boss gave him a new check!

Same thing happened to me several years ago.  Definitely take all of the pieces to the bank and I bet they will exchange them since it looks like you have most of the serial numbers.  Good Luck!!

My DH says the bank will replace them, as long as you have the serial numbers, which you do! Yay!! Crisis avoided!

Actually someone was just telling me about a very similar incident with her dog, and the bank told her that if she had at least half the bill they'd replace it. It's worth a shot?
