Bait and Switch!

[Lucy & AnnaBelle's Mom]

Last night I was sitting on the Sofa. Sophie was sitting on the Love Seat. Lucy came and jumped up and put her head in my lap. I was just sitting there rubbing her head for probably 10 mins when I hear Sophie "Woof". Lucy's head popped up, but immediately settled right back down. A few mins later Sophie "Woofed" again a little louder, and hopped off the Love Seat and is looking around like what was that. Of course Lucy hopps up as well and runs to the door, and as soon as she did Sophie came around and took her spot on my lap! Sophie = jealous? I think so.

These dogs are too smart for their own good. Fenway does this kind of thing to Dustin all of the time and most of the time it works!

Yankee does that to Finn too. Except he will grab a toy to play with which Finn will want and go after it. Then Yankee jumps up on the couch to take Finn's place. They are so smart!

Tigger tricks Roo that way all the time, too. It always makes us laugh. They are so clever.

Ha, my DH was just saying that my doodles play this trick on eachother with toys. When one has something the other wants, he will look like he wants to go outside, we open door for doodle A and doodle B follows, then doodle A will turn back around into the house and pickup the preferred toy that was left inside.....I didn't believe him, even said..."You really don't think they can use that kind of logic do you?" He, ofcourse, said "Yes". Then sure enough, later that night they did it to eachother....darn smart!
