I mentioned somewhere in the past couple of weeks that I was ordering new dog puzzles for Guinness, and someone asked me where I was getting them. Well with the holidays not only did I forget to respond, but I also forgot who asked, and now I can't find the post. Guinness seems to like puzzles, but I've been frustrated because he figured out the ones I have in about 5 minutes, and then it was just about how fast he could get his paws on the treats. It was no fun. Karen actually turned me on to the Nina Ottosson toys and puzzles. For whoever asked, I'm sorry that I did not get back to you, but here is the link to the site... http://www.activedogtoys.com/. I ordered him the Nina Ottosson Dog Casino which is the highest degree of difficulty, and it took the dog in the video quite a while to figure out, so I'm hopeful that this will work for Guinness. Murph is another story....no puzzles for that guy. I ordered him the Animal X Tire Ball, which is supposedly made for tough chewers and it makes 20 different animal sounds....right up the "big guy's alley".

lol I got Parker a puzzle for Christmas http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=seek+a+treat+dog... but he didn't seem overly excited...he did push the slides with his nose to try and get the cookies but I think I need to put better treats in there or something! lol
I like the nina otteson toys, but Im concerned Cooper would chew the removable pieces rendering the toy almost useless. I need a difficult toy without removable pieces for Cooper (the tornado is too easy)...
@Christine....yes, now I remember it was Shelby!
Thanks Jane... I think I was probably the one who had asked... (Actually - Shelby asked Guinness to ask him mom to e-mail) in some thread sometime last week! I'll take a look at the website! Thanks again!
Thanks for the link Jane. I particularly like the Feeding puzzle. Lucy could use this one. She loves treat toys so much that she gets too much food and I don't want her to end up gaining weight. She has Nina's Brick Puzzle. I just use a different food than what she normally eats and then she doesn't go eat her regular food. Sophie could really care less about them. She might use a treat ball, but would rather just follow behind Lucy and get the ones she misses. Let us know how you like the new one you ordered.
LOL! @Sue, that's exactly how Winnie operates! He waits for Sophie to free the treats and then makes his move! They are both smart in their own ways!
your timing is excellent. with the neighbour below me complaining about my doods making too much noise I need something to keep them occupied inside without letting them jump and play. I was planning on doing a search or a post, but now I don't have to. This is great! Sophie will probably figure them out right away, and Winston will likely get fed up and try to eat the toy (that's what he does with those balls that you fill with kibbles or treats).
