Dogs 101 sz labradoodles are easy to groom...

Dogs 101 did a show about designer dogs, and said that labradoodles just needed a 'little brushing, a little bathing' and they'd be good to go. Yikes! They haven't checked the DK grooming group, or spent time with Traveler! As for goldendoodles, they were a bit more cautious, saying the the grooming would 'take time.'

Yes, I guess they are easy if you have the time and money to spend combing, bathing, pulling ear hair, clipping around eyes, mouth, belly and butt every few weeks, not to mention nails and tails.  I love grooming my two, but easy is not how I would describe it.

The best thing about that episode is the doodle song...it gets in my head and I'm singing it for days but my doodles don't seem to mind!  (The rest of the family goes crazy but at least it's short.)

the doodles they showed in that episode were not the tight curly kind - more wavy fleece. I wish they had stopped by here before they finished production! Charli is never matted, rarely even has knots that go past the ends of her curls - because I comb her at least twice a week to the skin!

Shows that make statements like that is why so many doodles rehomed! -  "We just didn't realize how much time or money a doodle requires. Oy!!!
