Doodle Dreaming (Donna and Quincy)

I was ill at the weekend and I think I still have a fever. Ive been having strange dreams!

Now, this isnt the first time Ive dreamed about DK - and Im sure hope some of you have too

last nights honour was to Donna and Qunicy! Now im pretty sure it was the fantastic photo of Quincy Donna posted in a welcome thread to Eric C that made me have this dream

I dreamed I was sitting in a patio area on the street of a bar at the top end of a hill. (with a friend)

The street was cobbled, and next to the bar was a small triangular piece of wasteland.

It was fenced off, but there was a wrought iron gate, painted white, with an inscription

I cant remember what the inscription said but it was some kind of poem or limerick. I was talking to my friend about what the poem meant (it was about the location of Donna and Quincy doodle). An older man sitting behind us heard us talking, and pointed out a bar down the hill where Donna is often seen in

So, down the hill we go into the bar where a party was in full swing

My friend comments how will we find Donna when we dont know what she looks like. I commented back that I didnt know, I doubt she would have a photo of Quincy Doodle on her table. When a woman taps me on the shoulder and says "Did you say Quincy Doodle?". I turn around and its Donna!

Then I woke up...

Funny that you remembered your dream so clearly!  I'll have to share this with my DH.  He always is making fun of how much I'm on DK and that I'm obsessed!  At least I haven't dreamed about DK! (yet)

I love it! that is so awesome. I once dreamed that I met up with Karen (of Jack) and Leslie (of Halas), and someone else who I forget now, in China. Yep, China. No idea why, but I was staying at their hotel.

Fantastic journey!  Loved this blog.  I can totally relate to dreaming about DK.  I wish I was at that pub serving boxty right now.  I would love a steak and mushroom boxty with sour cream and a nice Guinness!
