but if the shoe fits - Rooney is a traitor.  My velcro puppy.  How can this be?  Rooney and I had gone to the airport to pick up my daughter who is here for the holiday.  Roo is always a wagging machine when dh comes home from NYC but what he proceeded to do when dd got in the puppy hauler - OMG!  He wasn't just wagging, he was shaking from head to tail while trying to wag - I've never seen him do anything like that!  He was trying to climb out of his car seat and having a total melt down.  So we got to dinner, he was fine at that point, had a great time and came home.  Later in the evening at bed time - he went into the guest room and spent the night with HER - WTD?  He always sleeps on my bed.  Rooney has only met dd 3 times - and she isn't even the biggest dog lover although her and her boyfriend do have a lab.  So what gives?  Rooney - mommy wants her puppy back!!!!

That is so funny!! I cant even imagine my dogs doing that.. they're always so reserved when it comes to new people. I wish this was not the case but I have been working on it with them all. Rooney is beautiful and Congrats on your new puppy as well! Exciting!!!

Haha ..my Golden Retriever used to do that with my dad. If he was around I didn't count at ALL!!! Pure jealousy...on my part!!! But my dad adored her:)

Also...I would like to point out that I am very jealous with your weather. It looks lovely there. We in Northern CA are having a cold windy weekend. Not good for Graduation parties!!

Vern is my Benedict Arnold. You should see him when the dog sitter comes over to get him. Rooney, you are still cute, even if your loyalty comes into question from time to time :)

You guys are too nice!  Thanks for all the kind words, I'm not one that is ashamed to admit my age - I'm turning 54 in June.  DD is 27 and she is the youngest of my 3 children - I started when I was 21 - jeez.  DD leaves tomorrow - I hope to get Rooney "back" at the time - lol.
