My Summer in Pictures by Quincy

Our's was not a great summer, but Mom and Dad tried to make the best of it and took me on as many outings as possible. Of course Mom always had her camera with her and took pictures of everything. Dad was not always the most patient with Mom's picture taking but she did it anyway. I thought I would share with you a little bit of my summer in pictures.

We went to visit a local fisherman and Mom brought home fresh crab for dinner. We aso went to visit my grandparents, it was a very long drive. While we were there ,Mom and Dad went fishing for cod and Mom let me sniff them.  Cod is delicious, I had some for my dinner.

 We spent lots of time watching the whales! Well, Mom watched the whales, I watched Mom and got lots of pets from the tourists. Some even told me I was nicer than the whales, I think they liked me.

 Mom kept trying to get some pictures for this thing called a calendar. I don't think these made the short list.I met some new creatures that I had not seen before. Mom says they are called a horse and a seal and a whale. The horse was my favorite, I wanted to play with him but Mom wouldn't let me. She said he might kick me, I don't think he would, he looked like a nice horse.

My favorite snacks, blueberries and ice cream cones. Dad did share a little with me. He thought it was really funny to see the look on peoples faces as they passed by and thought we were licking the cone together.We went for lots of walks and hikes! I got to run off my leash a bunch of times.

There were some sunny days and lots of rainy ones.

 I really learned to swim this summer and eventually the water got warm enough that Mom even went swimming with me. I think Mom should learn how to swim better so she doesn't need that giant noodle thingy.

 There are lots of pictures of Dad and me but only a couple with Mom.

 Finally, Mom says she found my new do for the next time she grooms me! I don't think that's funny. This guy looked like he wanted to spit at me, I think he was just jealous because I had nicer hair.

Even though it wasn't the greatest weather this summer, I had lots of fun!!!!! Thank you for looking at my pictures.

Quincy, your summer looked awesome.  You had one adventure after another and a little rain never stops us doods!  (Sometimes we think it is extra fun to play when it is raining because then the dirt squishes between our toes and we can make art on the floor when we come in.  Shhhh, don't tell my mom about how much we like that part.)  I have to look at the map and see how far we would have to drive to have adventures near you - one question though...do doodles have to have passports?  Your friends in Michigan, Clifford and Cloud.

We think you had a very nice summer.  We were mostly bored, but we had a visitor for allllll summer.  Clancy loved him and they played a lot every day.  I played too but not as much. We went camping and took our guest too.  Mom took me for special walks and took my picture for that calendar thing too.  She did not have time to take the others because when our grandnotfurgirl came, mom took lots of pictures of her instead.

OMD...Quincy, my beautiful boy...bite your Momma should she try to give you that new hair cut!!!  That is the worst looking thing I have ever seen.  You are such a handsome and proud looking Doodle and are perfect the way you are.  I would love to be in your town with Gracie Doodle.  There is just so much color and charm and is the perfect setting for photos.  Why do you have to live so far away???

Looks like a great summer summer to me!  I wouldnt worry too much about your mom grooming you with that new do. I have a feeling she's teasing you. Besides, you are such a handsome doodle, nothing could make you look bad.

Quincy, Looks like you had a pretty good summer. Love the crab legs...yum!! Was it your idea or your mom's idea to post a picture of herself in her bikini in the water with her large noodle?? You are one beautiful Doodle.
