Hi all Roo here! Boy have we had an interesting few weeks. Our sisters came to stay with us while Mom and Dad took the large box things somewhere. Whenever they put clothes in those things Tigger and I get left at home. This last time I put my very best rubber bone in, but Mom took it out. Next time I am putting myself in the box when it is open on the bed and I won't get out. Then I will get to see what they do.

Anyway, Tigger and I like having our sisters here and we had a great time playing with them. Then one day Tigger did something bad, really bad. I did not do something bad - and this is my story, you don't even know what happened. When sisters come I get to play the tag game. I grab something, an '"it", a towel, paper, a sock and I run right in front of them with ''t' and then one of them chases me, saying Tigger give "it" to me. If for some reason no one chases me outside, I turn around and run back by them with the "it". Tigger that is not a game - that is being bad. Mom does not let you play that game. She says "Tigger drop it" and pushes her hand down to the floor. Mom just does not get the game - she's not as fun as sisters. Tigger Mom uses that special voice that says bad dog ( I think it would be underlined in email, but I won't do that because that is bad manners).

My story, my story ...... and you keep interrupting !! Anyway, I grabbed a pretty pink ''it'. It was hard to get and I'm not telling how I got it. Just as I ran by sisters it made a wonderful crunch sound in my mouth. I was outside already and I forgot we were playing tag because the crunch was so wonderful, so I layed down and started to chew on it. Not really tasty, but very nice and crunchy. It did hurt my tongue a little. Sister caught me because I was laying down and took it away. Then she started to yell and tall sister came. They were both being loud and crying, so I licked them, then they really started crying! There was red all over their arms. Next thing I know I am in the car in sister's lap. Then we are at a place that smells like a vet. But its not our vet, and there's no fun cat. But I do get to ride back home in sister's lap again. My tongue hurts.

You chewed up that thing mom and sisters rub up and down there legs. Why would they do that? It must hurt. The next morning I got to go to the vet and they took pictures of my tummy and petted me and loved me. Then I came home and sister feed me a whole loaf of bread. I was pretty tired of bread by the end of the loaf, but I got almost all of it and you hardly got any. I got to play fetch the bone with tall sister, she's a really good thrower. That's better than plain old bread. You wanted that bread too, I know you did. Even you didn't want the second loaf of bread and I got my regular yummy dinner.

Yeah, my tummy was pretty full, but my tongue didn't hurt anymore and the next morning I got to go back to the vet for more rubs and loves and tummy pictures. I guess they wanted to make sure that sister fed me all that bread. You didn't come home though and sister did. They were both crying and saying op-er-a-tion. They said it so many times I memorized it. You didn't come home for a long time. Mom and Dad came home before you did.

I don't remember much except that I was really sleepy a lot and everytime I woke up I had this plastic thing on my head. Mom and sister came to the vet and stayed and played with me while I ate. The vet has yucky food.

Plus, you weren't there, and its weird to eat without you. My tummy didn't feel too good either, all that bread maybe.

That fun lady took me for walks and told me "good dog" when I pooped. You didn't know that because this is my story. So I'm not a bad dog, so there. She and mom were talking about my poop. I bet she never talked about your poop with Mom! You came home with that white thing on your head and hit me in the head about a million times saying hello. I'm glad Mom put the softer blue one on you. You look really funny - hahahahaaaaa. I know, it feels funny too and my tummy itches and I can's get at it to scratch it. That will teach you not to steal stuff and be bad. I don't know, it's not really that bad, and playing tag with sisters is really fun. You made everybody cry. And I had to sleep right on top of them to comfort them. You always want to sleep on top of them, they are just letting you like Mom is letting me sleep in her chair. Do you think it is because I have this collar on and my tummy itches?

Sigh.... Tigger please no more tag except with paper, Mom doesn't get too mad at that. Well, I do like the vet, but I missed Mom and Dad and you. Did you miss me? I did.

Oh my goodness, so frightening. Your sisters must have been very concerned. Please play with safe toys from now on!

Tigger, I hope you feel better soon. I would say that the game sounds fun but you should be more careful with what you steal, try a piece of pizza or maybe a roll of toilet paper. They are fun, tasty, and don't cut you. I'm jealous that you got to eat all of that bread... - Darwin

Graciedoodle, you should visit Roo with your nursie hat. That would make him feel much better. You could bring him some bread too.

Tigger, we are very sorry about the game. It sounds like it was a bad idea. You should have listened to Roo and played the game with paper. We are glad you are back home so your mom and Roo can take care of you. We would milk them for extra treats - is bread good? Should we hold out for some? Our mom is watching us because one of us, and we are not saying who, got her leftover chocolate-iced pastry off the counter and ate it up all gone! One of us, and we are not saying who, is tall enough to do that...... Our mom was sad because she had saved it "for later" whatever that means. Who would want to save a yummy treat for later anyway. She also said something about watching us to make sure we were ok and we both are cause there wasn't a lot of chocolate on it.Ned and Clancy

Oh boy, what can't they get into? Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Luckily the only recent incident here involved Chinese dumplings. I guess my two are old enough so that food is the major temptation.

Wow! Looks like you dodged a bullet on this one - could have had a horrible outcome. My daughter's Yorkie ate an entire 4-pack of disposable razors - fortunately only the handles. He was able to poop it all out, although it took him awhile to get up the nerve to go for the second poop as the first one clearly wasn't comfortable.

Tigger - Rooney's mom here - I am so glad you are feeling better but I got to tell you - I owe you big time for warning me about the fact the the pink "it" was something you'd want to play with. Rooney comes home in less than a week and my pink "it" is in reach when Rooney gets a bit bigger. It is being moved to a higher place out of reach. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
