Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Roo here! Reporting in on the Malibu Doodle Romp. Oodles of doodle fun. Lots and lots of people to meet. And all of them love me! Most of them thought it was awesome to have doodle right in their lap or face to face for a kiss. A few humans were confused and thought this was a Canine Good Citizen test and pushed me down, but most just hugged and loved me. It's okay though, humans are easily confused as they don't watch, smell or listen carefully. Tiggerrrrrrrrrr checking in. Roo, it's you who are confused. You are not supposed to jump up on people unless they don't notice you even if you are wagging your tale and cocking your head. Then you jump straight up in the air. If they still don't notice you that is when you politely stand on two legs and put your front paws on them.
Oh sure. You were so busy in the doodle conga line, you all looked like circus elephants, walking all over the place nose to tail. We walked right by you, so you could join in. I needed to say hi to the two guys by the food tables. If I hadn't called you over you would not have even noticed the wonderful food that was on the tables. Fried chicken, ham, cupcakes, even big dog iscuits in case you needed a little chewing to settle your stomach. Well Mom shared her chicken with me and not you! Dad and Heather were sharing with me, also the man right next to them and then the lady that walked by, and then the kids of the lady Dad knew. You are soooo pushy. I'm just friendly. Pushy, pushy, pushy - who had the sick tummy that night?
Did you even meet all the doodles? What a great dog park - no pit bulls or pushy dobermans. Everyone was such a fun dog. It wasn't a dog park, it was a doodle romp in someone's big enormous gigantic backyard, so of course it was all doodles. Whatever. (sigh) It was wonderful and we stayed all afternoon. Lots of people took my picture - I bet I am going to be famous. Well I am famous. Dad and I entered the best kisser contest and won. You didn't win, they gave that blue fabric thingy to that big white doodle who stood up and hugged his mom while he kissed her. I was the best sitting kisser. Dad is too tall to hug and still kiss his face. Besides I had checked out that blue thingy earlier and it didn't have any stuffing or squeakies in it, the cookies Dad gave me were much better.
Mom and Heather were really checking out two small red doodles. Do you think we might be getting another brother or a sister? Not if you don't grow up and stop dragging the the toilet paper around the house. Mom's had enough of that. Grrrrrrrrrrr the fish, the new orange rubber fish, I just remembered him from last night. Where is he? I'm not telling.
Uhoh! gotta go. Tigger is going to get the new fish. More later from your reporter, Roo.
