I leave to get Sheila in Maine on early Tues. morning. I am so excited to meet Sheila and her sibling Tucker. I just pray the snow holds off long enough for me to dart to Maine and back to Illinois--although can one DART to Maine? Two planes and a 3 hr.rental car ride from Portland, ME to Dover-Foxcroft, ME. I hope it's not too hard on the little thing. I will wear plenty of layers just in case of accidents. This reminds me of when I flew with our 15 mo. old deaf child back and forth to St. Louis each week. She threw up, peed, fell down, got cuts, cancelled flights, wouldn't sit AT ALL on the flight, on and on. I was always worn to a thin spit by the time I got that active little one home. Truthfully, I can't imagine this will be that tumultuous. But I will be so glad to be "off the runway" and be an actual doodle owner after this long wait (since Sept. before she was even born).
So yeah for us. Isn't she little at 12 weeks?
