Today I did a practice of sorts for Darwin's Halloween costume. I parted his hair down the center and gelled it but his hair is so curly it didn't really stay slicked down. I was really worried he would be uncomfortable when I put the stuff on him because I want him to wear it all night on Halloween. Luckily, he didn't mind the costume except for the glasses (not sure how to keep those on him) so it was at least possible to get some photos. It wasn't easy though! He made sure of that, ha ha. He has a funny habit of staring straight at the camera right up until you take the picture, then he turns away... oh well! Here are some of the photos I was able to capture. i wish the bow tie wasn't so hard to see! Also, I'm considering taking the lenses out of the glasses, maybe they will bother him less.

Hi Darwin....I feel that I must add my own posting here, because I see that my brother has been including disparaging remarks about me yet again. I think your Halloween costume is very cool, and I'll bet everyone who sees you will LOVE IT! You could win a contest! I'd like to clarify that I'm not a "dumb jock", nor will I be dressing as that for Halloween. I will be wearing a football player costume, which is perfect for me because I'm kind of a big, burly guy. Let me once and for all clarify that I am a VERY SMART Doodle, and you should not believe a word my brother says. He's just jealous and mad because I can put his whole head in my mouth...but I never bit down hard. Your buddy, Murph

I think you're looking pretty awesome! I'm a Nerd too, and proud of it! My brother is going to be a "dumb jock" for Halloween....you know what they say, "if the shoe fits". HA HA HA! I really like your hair style...it makes you look even smarter. I don't know about that shirt and sweater vest though....you know how I hate clothes.
