What about the name Grady or Brady? I haven't seen it on here and I think both names are really cute! My son has friends with these names. I also like Riley. I'll keep thinking about it....
I just saw where you're waiting on your puppy!! Congrats! Puppyhood is fun...and a challenge- but def. worth it :-)
I just got my first doodle, a shepadoodle, she is a doll and sooo sweet.
You should keep a blog during your days before your doodle comes home!
Brilliant news Lindsay, welcome to the Impatient group!! My puppy is 24 days old now and this waiting is awful.
These are the things I have put together,
Crate
Puppy pen
Lots of newspaper
A Snuggle Puppy which has been sent to the breeder to get the scent of the mum for comfort , It has a 'heart beat' and warm pad inside. I think Snuggleme is the trade name.
I have done a survey of all the local Vets and chosen one on recommendation.
Am putting together a first aid kit which include Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to induce vomiting if th puppy accidentally eats anything dangerous.
Nail clippers
simple brush and comb to get him used to grooming
ear cleaner
I have made treats (the recipe is in the food group) with liver, oatmeal and eggs. I double baked them and froze them. This is because I don't rust the ones on sale.
A can of pumpkin which in small doses helps with any tummy issues. I will freeze small amounts in the ice cubes and have them ready in the freezer if needed.
A clicker for training
A flat tag that I ordered online to attach to the collar as I don't trust the hanging ones that can get caught (from Boomerang Tags)
I will buy a 'Canny Collar' when the puppy comes for walking but won't get it yet as I don't know the size
I have also checked the best Training classes and will be enrolling him as early as possible.
Hope all this is helpful.
