Jump For Joy?

[Camilla and Darwin]

When Darwin gets REALLY happy, he literally, jumps for joy. This usually happens when we either talk in a really high pitched voice, pull out his favorite treats (Zukes minis), or when he knows that he is about to go out and play. He doesn't jump ON me, just jumps straight up into the air in front of me. It is so cute and hilarious! Does anyone else's doodle do something liked this? What does your doodle do when he/she is overjoyed?

Ollie does this too. Usually when come home from somewhere or when we are feeding him. Sometimes he even twists around in the air. It's really funny because it's like he's so excited he can't stop himself.

When Jackdoodle is really happy to see me, his tails spins in circles like a propeller!

Marlow acts like "Tigger" on Winnie the Pooh when he is excited! It is so funny!

Sheba never used to do this until Duke did. Now there are two of them jumping! Sheba doesn't run into me but Duke is so uncoordinated that he smacks right into me!! (Hubby too.) The bad part is that he sometimes jumps on people...not good! Hopefully he can learn the difference between good and bad jumping. :)

Murphy and Marley will stand up together, hold onto eachother and dance around when they play. I just have to get a picture on here. It's just priceless. I call it the Doodle-dance.

Yes, Chewie does this especially when I get home after being out for awhile. He jumps straight up on his back legs...over and over again. He has gotten to be quite the jumper.

Yes, Gracie Doodle can jump straight up in the air. Probably clears the ground by two feet easily. I think that must be the Poodle in her. When I have the chuck-it with the tennis ball in it she jumps like crazy straight up in the air. She is a beautiful jumper. She can clear our 4 ft gate, hedges and walls. I guess the agility training paid off. She also turns her tail into a propeller when she is very happy. It is interesting to see all the different languages that go on in their tails!!

Hey there... that is cute... Cagney runs all over the house and has to greet everyone when the wake each morning... if you sleep too long he runs in the room on the bed... then he takes off to the next room... till everyone is awake... then he bum wags around the house looking for hugs and kisses...When he wants to go out for a run/walk he jumps around the yard like you said with joy until we pass through the back gate into the field... don't ya just love it!
