Do you ever call your doodle 'Baby Doodle', 'Baby Dood', 'Insert name here Doodle', etc.? I find myself doing things like this a lot. Do you ever do this or do you always go by their names?
For Whopper we've got Whoppadoo, Whopster, Whoppadoodle, Ms. Whopalot... and for Simba we often call him Simbie, Simbitard and little man. At times they each get the nickname smooshface after a long nap. Together I like to call them doods, goobers, lickerbockers...
We have lots of nicknames but those are the first to come to my head.
We have a ridiculous amount of nicknames for Darwin. We almost never use his real name... which is probably a bad thing... LOL. Pupwin, Flufallufagous, dogbean (can't explain this one...), etc.
My husband and I were just talking about this the other night. We call Lucy, 'Lucy-Loo', 'BuddaPup', 'Lucifous', 'Punkin-Head', and of course I call her 'Honey', 'Sweetie' and 'Baby Girl' a lot.
This morning I caught myelf calling Lucy, 'Baby Bird'. We've had 2 cockatoos for over 12 yrs and both my husband and I are 'Daddy Bird' and 'Mama Bird' (silly, I know, but what can I say?), so it only makes sense that Lucy should be the 'Baby Bird'! :)
I call Butters "Babies" so much that my niece started to call him that too. She says " come on, babies" all the time. I also call him scruff-a-lufigous when he's scruffy....
To Roxy's parents... I have songs for Butters too, but not as cute as yours.
