Is Rua sick, too?

It started yesterday...she would just lay down on the floor by herself...no toys.  At 8:30PM, she started walking to the bedroom by herself and I think she wanted to go to bed (too early, especially since I am sick).

 

This morning, her poo was a bit on the green side (no change in food), her 2nd poo was a bit green too, but her 3rd poo was light brown (within the past hour).  She sneezed a few times a little bit ago.

 

And, I was just working on my Training assignment comment for January and I realized it was really quiet.  I went out of my office and there is Rua laying in the middle of the entry on the wood floor.  Not playing with a toy, destroying a magazine, or getting into mischief.

 

She isn't all that interested in food (but isn't a big eater), but scarfed up her pumpsicle (defrosted pumpkin).  She just tore after PuffDog (cat sister) and sailed down the stairs, so she has energy...when she wants to.

 

So, is she sick, or just finally settling down (she just turned 5 months two days ago)?

I'd keep an eye on her. You may see a doodle "settle down" when they're a year or two old, not 5 months. It does sound to me like there's something off with her. Your instincts are telling you that too, I think. I hope we're both just being worrywarts.

i think she is too young to be settling down. id keep an eye on her for a  few days. try not to worry. dogs have off days too

I agree to just keep an eye one her for now. Maybe she is having sympathy symptoms for her momma!! Hope you are both feeling better soon!

I agree with the others, keep a close eye on her. Hopefully it's nothing, and I hope you feel better as well!

Sounds very familiar....Banjo just a week ago...low energy...sometimes greenish poo....and reverse sneezing....for about 3-4 days.   He's back on track now and as silly as ever.   I hope little Rua is just feeling a bit off and will be back to herself very soon.

She's resting up for her New Year's Eve Bash she's planning!!!  Hope she is back to her ol self again. And I have a 5 month old too and some days she's more quiet than others and I just roll with it. They do seem to pick up our energy too, so if you;ve been more quiet and feeling sick, she may just be feeding off that, Hope you both feel better soon.

Ditto... I'd watch her... perhaps she got a hold of something that isn't agreeing with her tummy.  Hope she's feeling better soon!

Rua - Rooney is sending his wishes for you to get back on your paws.  I think this is post party depression.  No more gifts, company and excitment.  Rooney seems a bit down too.  Hope she is all better today.

Green poo?  How green? Bright green?  Don't want to startle you, but I recall reading that if a dog ingests mouse/rat poison their stool will be bright green and it can happen days after they ingested the poison.  I hope this is not the case and she is just having an off day.  Keep us posted.

Rua, I sure hope you're feeling better this morning....and no more of that green poop.  I think we need an update....
