Johnny Boy Hospitalized....

For all my doodle friends just wanted some extra TLC today as I had to leave my boy with the vet last night for a barium swallow (we thought he had swallowed something) Tossed and turned all night without him and could not wait to pick him up today....to be told "Johnny has to stay for three more days" He is on IV fluids and pain killers as he has "pancreatitis" NO WAY...my "street kid" rescue has not tolerated the rich rood we have been feeding him and it has caused his pancreas to flair up. This rescue dog was apparently on the street for months, living on trash, and surviving the wilds of nature. WE get him, feed him only best food, sleeps in our bed, has the life of a king and unbeknown to us, we have overly indulged him. So......on that note all I can say for now is thank goodness for pet insurance as this bill is going into four figures. So anyone who is thinking about it...don't hesitate as you never know what is down the road.
