Turkey is fine for dogs--no bones though, and no fat, and beware if your dog doesn't usually get table foods, as stomach upset could ensue.

The problem with turkey is that it could cause pancratitus (sp?).  The skin and the darkmeat are the most problematic,

 

I would err on the safe side and not give it to them.

Luckily, we decided from the very beginning that Sedona would not ever get table scraps - actually she gets very little in the way of "people food".  As a result, she never begs while we're at the table and as a side result, we're not going to have to worry about toxic Thanksgiving foods.  But thanks for the reminder, nevertheless!

Luckily Daisy is not a beggar and she does NOT get table scraps....if it was my last dog, oh my!

Oh dear, I'm still worried about her eating socks and poop. Mine get table scraps, homecooking, don't beg and will get a thanksgiving plate all their own from real people food. Even pumpkin pie!!!! Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled.

Other than too much turkey, onions, and some grapes, I'm not sure what else of a thanksgiving meal would be toxic to a dog. Or maybe I need to do more research like he says.
