I love Rigby. Get a female too and name her Eleanor.....as in Eleanor Rigby, the Beattles song. ;) Am I revealing my age? lol
I am not sure what to name our pup. It seems like the list changes from day to day. First my kids wanted Coby, Charlie or Rudy (something about the "e" sound on the end, LOL). Then they vetoed those names and have now offered, Sam, Jake, Cooper, Luke, or Spanky (from the Little Rascals). I am sure that this list will change because we still have awhile to go before bringing our puppy home. I have decided to make a final determination on pick-up day.
These names are all cute!
Right now, it looks like the top name for our little baby girl is Birdie, but that could change.:)
Sara, Birdie is such a cute name. I haven't seen any other Doodles with that name on DK. :)
Albee is another cute name. You guys are good!!
I wanted to name our little guy Edison, after Thomas Edison since my fiancee is an electrical engineer. We figured since he is a goldendoodle, and supposed to be really smart, we would pick a nerdy name for him :) HOWEVER, my fiancee somehow came up with the name Leroy....So Leroy it is. I'm okay with it...I like Edison better, but I figure i'll let him have this...plus, I can sing that song to the puppy "bad bad Leroy Brown"
You could always tell people you named him after the famous composer Leroy Anderson; he wrote the Christmas classic Sleigh Bells, was fluent in nine languages, and received both of his degrees from Harvard. Or....you could say you named him after LeRoy Butler, former FSU Safety famous for the "puntrooskie" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psu879qOkIo
Yea, I'd go with LeRoy Butler....GO NOLES!
Haha! I love it! I know my fiancee will appreciate LeRoy Butler....He's a football fanatic.
I saw this post and just loved it. I can just hear you calling him "LeeeRoy". Now that definitely has a ring to it. And I don't even know who LeRoy Butler (or the Noles or FSU) could be. But the name! Now that is a classic name for a doggie.
:) It is definitely growing on me...I'm thinking I could have quite a bit of fun with it!
