12 Week Vet Visit

I had to share this photo at our 12 weeks puppy visit :) My kids both got to go, and their smiles really tell it all :) They love Leia, and Leia adores them! It's been the perfect start to summer having her in our family. She was 11.8 pounds and a little on the thin side. We decided with the vet's recommendation to increase her food intake... she was always hungry and seemed to need it, despite the amounts on the bag. After only a few days since her vet appt, she has grown SO MUCH! I guess she did need that extra food! She had more trouble with this set of vaccines and needed an anti-inflammatory from the vet, but she was back to her normal self the next day. So, all is well. Only one more puppy vet visit until her shots are complete and we can take on the world! Here is Leia at 12 weeks:

It's hard to tell who is the cutest. Leia and your kids are are all adorable! Whoops, I should say your son is handsome; he looks like he is approaching the age where he would not think "adorable" was a good description.

Aw, thanks :) He would PROBABLY still let you call him adorable, but those days are definitely numbered :)

They are all so stinking cute! Such sweet smiles! Glad to hear she is doing ok! It is such a relief after they get those last set of shots...enjoy!

What a precious picture and beautiful family. Growing up with dogs I think it's the best thing you can do for your kids. There's is nothing better than a friend to come home to and unconditional love.
