"Howl"oween Doodles

Happy Howl-oween!

I am usually an avid member of the Naked Doodles Club, with the exception of the occasional themed bow or bandana, so for Halloween this year I took a "less is more" philosophy and went with Ragley as a life-size Beanie Baby. I then found some old rave-themed clothing in a drawer, however, and turned my sweet little redhead into the most precious Little Mermaid I have ever seen!

Anyone else dressing up their doodles this year?

Miss Ragley you are very fetching nestled in with the Beanies; however, no matter how creative your mom was with the costume your expression says it all.  I joined the NDC several years ago and have been free ever since.  You sure are  a very pretty doodlette.

Oh my goodness, that mermaid costume made me laugh! My 1st thought was, how on Earth does a doodle walk in that??? 2nd thought was, how is that bikini top held on? Not particularly practical, but makes for a great picture! Last night my daughter came over for the trick or treaters and insisted I find the old bee costume of Lucy's which she wore 3-4 yrs ago. Lucy was having none of that and ran around the kitchen island, effectively avoiding the dreaded torture. Oscar was clueless and allowed DD to put the costume on him. It was hilarious, with his head squeezed into the little hat with his floppy ears pulled through the holes. We all took pity on him, though, and he was out of the costume in seconds. The doods here are now officially members of the Naked Doodles Club!

That's adorable!  I think the beanie baby idea is the cutest ever for a doodle and I love that it is minimalist. 
I keep meaning to do something with Rosco like dress up my daughter as Belle and he can be The Beast, or maybe next year we can do Annie (daughter), Daddy Warbucks (Clark), and Sandy (Rosco).  But we typically don't go door-to-door trick-or-treating only downtown where all the businesses hand out candy to miles and miles of dressed up kids.  It's crowded downtown.  Maybe next year!
