I wasn't going to see this movie anyway because I would just be a wreck the entire time, but this was brought to my attention today.

If you were going to go see the movie, I would reconsider. The crew is being investigated for animal abuse. Watch the one minute video in the article if you can stomach it.

I can't even watch the clip, knowing that a dog is being abused :(  I will NOT see the movie!!!

I couldn't watch the video, reading about it was disturbing enough.

Add me to the list of those who just can't watch this clip.

I guess I am one of the very few dog lovers who hated the book, lol, so I wasn't planning to see the movie anyway.

I watched it, and brought me to tears watching that poor dog struggling....he was truly afraid, and I hope those thoughtless and heartless people involved in this are punished, that dog almost lost his life and I pray this doesn't happen again for any film, with any dog or any other animal, for any reason! So heartbreaking that this animal's life was not valued just for the purpose of making a film! I hope this poor dog finds a good home and can overcome his fear of water after this! So sad! I will not be watching the movie!

This was on our news this morning - really disturbing!  I won't watch the movie either!

No can do!  Someone gave me the book for a gift and it was not a good read for me.

Deplorable!

I watched the video hoping that people were exaggerating and overreacting. I can still replay it over in my mind. If I could go back, I wouldn't watch it either.

I watched it and I wish I could go back and unwatch it. I just don't understand. All the CGI capabilities we have and they would do that to a poor dog. I love my girls so much. I don't know how someone standing around that set wouldn't have stopped that.

I wouldn't have gone to see it anyway. There's something about dog movies that always make me cry uncontrollably. Even when they aren't supposed to be sad. There was a book I read a very very long time ago, called "A Dog Called Kitty" and I can't remember the whole story, but I know that I'm still traumatized!

FYI: new information from the producer of this film.

I'm not impressed. :)

Me neither, I take spin jobs with a grain of salt.
