Don't let this happen to your doodle! Last time you saw Tara she was partying hard on her 4th birthday. Well all that has come to a quick end. Yesterday I posted a video in the Grooming Group for a…Continue

Once again my Doodle Addiction is permeating another area of my life! Lately I find myself singing/humming Christmas Carols as I work around the house only I tend to work the word "DOODLE" into every one of them. For instance:

Thank you Ricki! We are all safe and doing well. We did not lose power and weathered the storm with minor tree damage in the backyard. One tree fell over and another is leaning but like I said, we are all safe and so is my house! You are sweet to ask!
Hi Ricki,
Thanks for your message! I know it sounds weird, but these aren't the stinky kind of toots (she has had those in the past)- they are just air. And, her poops are perfect, so I don't think it's a food problem. I think it is just a Winnie Quirk! :-)
Thank you for the positive thoughts. He is doing great, making progress daily! We adore him.
Sent you a message with pictures of Ned's tags.
Ned's tags are plastic from Lucky Pet Tags. I get him the small bow tie and have them etch on both sides. He is bigger than Tara, but still a smaller doodle.

Thanks for the invite!
Hi Ricki, I thought of you while posting. I think that I am friends on here and on Facebook so most already knew about Dexter.
I have been putting my hat in the ring for some time now with the DRC. After a couple of heartbreaks we started to wonder if we really were ever going to get another dog. We then started second guessing ourselves and wondered if Daisy would get along with another dog. Well I then put in to Foster. After about 4 months I got the call to foster a 5 month old male (Daisy only likes males) and we decided to start there. Well HE was perfect, Daisy loved him. She turned into a little Momma dog. We could not give him up, so now I have joined the ranks of Foster Failure.
Daisy and Dexter play all day long on the weekends. They play morning and night on weekdays. The relationship is awesome.
The reason this all started was when the business I worked for closed down I had to go and find an new job (was not hard, actually had a job to walk in to the first day after closing) the sad part was I could no longer take my girl with me. I felt awful and frankly Daisy was turning into quite the recluse. The only people she stuck around to see was our daughter and son in law, and my brother and his family. Anyone else came around and she would go sleep in the closet. It was breaking our hearts. She did not like most other dogs either, so dog parks or daycares were out. We started talking about getting a puppy but way too much...adoption was the next best thing.
Anyway, that's my quick story to a long process, two years to be exact. The anniversary of my new job is next week.
My ex-dil has whippets and her female is like this with nail cutting. She usually bites the bullet and takes her to the vet or PetSmart because while she does most things herself including cutting the male's nails, she just hates 'fighting' with the female.
