Sometimes we project too much, Chuck. Who knows what will happen when? And maybe, if the future develops the way you think it might you might decide to adopt an older dog.

Our "Doodles" will keep us forever young! Getting a Doodle puppy when we were 70 was a challenge but now dealing with Rusty's cancer, amputation and Chemo treatments in our 71st year has been the real challenge! (see my chronicle of Rusty's cancer) Since Rusty's life will be cut short by the cancer, our next challenge will be, do we get another puppy when we are close to our mid 70's?

Oh, I guarantee you I belong in the group. I am in the + side of the 50's part. Remember the TV series "Thirty Something" I loved that show - I think perhaps I was thirty something then.... I even had the t-shirt!
