I would love to bathe Yogi once every two weeks, he smells so good after a bath. But I know it's not good for him, so I'm bathing every month, but I'm sure it will change some depending on what he gets into. Probably some longer times and some shorter times.

But yes, every week is way too often.

My doodles get bathed every two months : ) Bathing twice a week is way too much though you may need to spot clean. Too much bathing dries the skin.

Thank you all for the welcome! A new question, how many times a week should you bath a Goldendoodle? Is bathing once a week good? Or twice a week, a bad thing?

Sweet story, Ada.  I had no idea that Bernedoodles existed when I was inquiring about Bernese Mountain dog puppies.  And then 'WHAM' I was in love with a doodle!  Lucky Emma.  I feel happy for you and you've come to the right place.  This doodle community has unlimited support and a wealth of knowledge from all perspectives.  It's awesome.

Welcome Ada and Emma.  Also join the grooming group.  Many doodles have unique grooming needs.

Welcome! This is an exciting time! You should also join the groups "Puppy Madness" and the "Food Group". In those two groups you will find invaluable information on just about anything and everything that you can imagine. The search bar helps if you have questions and need to find an answer in a hurry. I have learned so much from this website. The first year is the most important....thats when you learn to socialize, and begin to train your pup so you can each enjoy each others company. Good luck to you you all and remember you have quite a support system in this network of doodle-lovers!
