I do love my 750 but i hardly used it with our awful summer weather. I think you will really like it.

@Nancy, I plan on doing all of your lessons. I do shoot JPeg fine and raw but I really do need to get Lightroom. My Elements13 doesn't recognize the new camera. I just remembered I bought a neutral density filter when I bought the 50mm but I don't remember what I did with it. I swear I could hide my own Easter eggs.

I’ve only heard great things about that camera. New cameras are so much fun.
Have I pontificated recently about the advantages of shooting raw and using Lightroom? A new camera is a great excuse to learn new techniques. If you don’t recall please read any of my many previous posts.

If I don't get any good photos we'll all know it's the photographer not the camera. The 50mm is so tiny. My 150-500mm is so heavy (as you found out Cheryl) that I hate using it. Gord asked me why I didn't get a lighter lens but when I told him the lens I wanted was $8000 he told me to get used to the tripod.

Congratulations Donna! I have the same Nikon this based on DJ's and F's recommendations, in part, and think you'll love it! Will be anxious to hear what you think! Low light capabilities are great! MY 300 mm lens no longer having the reach of a 450 mm has been a bit frustrating (which would not be a problem if I was wealthy ;)

I got the Nikon D750. I stuck with Nikon because some of the lenses I have will work with the full frame. Having said that, I haven't tested them yet. I did buy a new 50mm 1.4 and a 70-300mm.
