I highly reccomended Robert McCammon's Mathew Corbett series. The first book is 'Speaks the Nightbird'. It was kind of hard to start, but once it got going it was hard to put down.

I finished almost all the 2012 top books on Goodreads fiction section! I loved about all of them. Looking for a new book now to read, anybody have any reccomended books that are similar to ones on that list?

I agree with Lori,  highly recommend "A Dog's Purpose" - you'll cry, laugh, think & cry some more. It's a fast read but do have the tissue handy.

Has anyone read Until Tuesday? I'm browsing Amazon to get a book for my Kindle and came across this one, sounds good. Would like some opinions though :)

Dog lover book alert - I just finished finished Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts.  It was so good.  It will never win a Pulitzer, but if you are a dog lover it is a great read.

My dog ATE my book.  It has been a very wet week in California and rained every day.  We have not been out for a walk (except Groucho had a walk on his birthday) and the dogs are going stir crazy in the house.  Yesterday I was gone to a history day competition and my husband left the dogs in the house unsupervised.  An hour later, my slippers were chewed, a toy demolished, the toilet paper and kleenex all over the house, and my book chewed up.  He got the first 50 pages and the last 50.  The first 50 I had read already, but I was in the middle of the book.  I could have been worse!  My husband packed up the dogs and went grocery shopping so I could see the whole effect when I came home.  Poor pups - we are on the way for a nice walk now.
