Yay I know you are excited. I totally understand your reasoning for waiting until after christmas LOL. If Bunker wasnt already 10 weeks when we pick him up on the 22 I would probably wait too. I can only hope that my christmas isnt tooo hectic. Post lots of pictures when you finally bring him home he is a cutie.

Carla, Cooper comes home Dec. 28th. Some people are picking up their puppies Christmas Eve (and we had that option also), but I didn't feel it would be fair to Cooper (who could use those extra few days with his mom), my Christmas Day guests (who probably wouldn't get a dinner!), nor to me (who would be feeling pulled in a dozen directions on an already stressful day). So, we'll have a couple days to get decorations stowed away and get all set up for Cooper's arrival (we have gates to put up to keep our 22yr old cat separate), as well as all the other puppy paraphernalia to get organized. Plus, we'll be able to devote all our attention on the little guy when he comes home. I won't say it wasn't awfully tempting though!

Hi everyone, I just joined this group. I'm waiting for Cooper to come home Dec. 28th. He's a standard cream, F1b labradoodle. Looks like there's plenty of others here anxiously awaiting new pups. I've been waiting since I first learned Cooper's momma was expecting, Sept. 9th. Seems like an eternity to wait. It will be fun sharing with others with like colored pups as the arrival date approaches. Here's a current pic the breeder sent:

Good to know I am not losing my mind LOL. I have both of the cameras ready to go as soon as he comes home. I cant wait LOL. I will get them all up as soon as my family leaves and I have time to sit and breath for 5 seconds LOL.

You are not odd at all, you are the typical new doodle mom. Your little one is gorgeous. When I got Lucy we were going on vaca that had been planned for a year so I did not pick her up until she was 10 months old and she was the last of the litter to go too. I am glad I left her with her mamma until then, she learned a lot in those last 2 weeks with her. Make sure you share pics when you get him home. Happy Holidays!!! The kids will be sooooo excited.

Hi everyone I am new to doodlekisses. We are currently waiting on Bunker to come home. His brothers and sisters went home yesterday and today, but he is staying with his mom until Dec 22nd. We are trying to hide him from the kids as long as possible. He will be almost 11 weeks old when he comes home. I cant stop thinking about him I am so excited for him to come home. Did anyone else dream of doodles while waiting on thier little ones to come home....maybe I am just a little odd LOL

We took Annie hiking up at Red Top Mountain in Georgia. She loved it we described it as Disney world for dogs. LOL!!!!! There was lots of fallen logs that Annie loved jumping, there is a lake with beaches, and lots of leaves for Annie to play in. There was a " Leaf Storm" . Annie tried to catch all the leaves. We saw lots of dogs , and Annie loved seeing them. We took her down to the beach to see if she liked water and......... SHE LOVED IT AND
WOULDN'T GET OUT. We finally got her out and she was exhausted ( the hike all together was 6 or more miles). We had to go to the Dog Spa for an emergency groom ( and a blueberry facial and massage, might I add). The lady there was soooo nice she stayed pass hours just to get Annie groomed.
