This is about training a search and rescue dog and the teams. Part of it is about the explosion of the Columbia and the debris field over Texas and Louisiana.

I just read A Dog's Purpose a few weeks ago, I found it really sad but a book I didn't want to put down and I haven't read many of those lately. I also enjoyed The Art of Racing in the Rain.

I ordered a Dogs Purpose, Stay, Until Tuesday, One good dog, and Inside of a dog but have not started any of them yet. I enjoyed The Art of Racing In The Rain

Well, just finished You Had Me at Woof by Julie Klam. I read it in one day and it is a very, sweet, touching book (told with humor) about a woman and the dogs she has rescued and loved.

I just finished Ape House by Sara Gruen.It is about communicating bonobo apes. Though not about dogs, it was really good and made me think what it would be like to communicate with my dogs. I ordered all the books yesterday that she read written by researchers. I will have to order The Search. I got a reader from my husband for Christmas but I prefer the books in hard copy.

I am reading a book by Nora Roberts called The Search. It is a mystery/romance about a woman who trains dogs for a living, does search and rescue, and has three loyal labs. So far, I have really enjoyed the book.

Next on my list is You Had Me at Woof and it is about a woman and her Boston Terrier. I saw the book reviewed in People Magazine and ordered a copy.

It is intense. I am reading a new one. At least new for me. Together by Toe Sullivan and Betty White.
