Maybe you can get a dog at the Humane Society or a shelter. I know the Doodles are spendy. How about becoming a Guardian?

I want to but it's so expensive with flea and heartworm preventive plus grooming. I know he needs a playmate!

Roberta,
Maybe Coach really liked having a sister who was close to his size and stamina. Maybe a second doodle is needed!!

Oh, I bet Coach misses his buddy. I think you should get another dog, if you can!

Every since my foster doodle has been gone, Coach has being very destructive. He is getting into everything he can. What's up with this????????

I too, use a bark collar on occasion. Gracie usually shuts right up if I pick the collar up. She hates the smell. And it did not take her long to "get it." I use it for excessive barking at the door or at the fence. She too is a velcro dog but does not make much noise when I am gone!

Hi Annie! You might try this "No Bark" collar: http://www.amazon.com/Premier-Spray-Sense-Anti-Collar/dp/B0002D31QU... (Here's my video of how well it worked on Toby: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7opnqR5Fmcg ) I would suggest using it for a couple days so he knows what it is, and then put it on him before you leave the house. Maybe you could do a couple short test runs - go to the corner and come home in about 5 minutes - to get him used to staying quiet while you are gone.

My Missy May is perfect in every way except.....every time I leave her alone she cries and howls and barks incessantly nonstop. She must see me at all times and wither I go'ist she goes. Going out to dinner or even grocery shopping has become a nightmare. If I leave her home my neighbors complain and if I run into a store with her in the backseat of the car for 5 minutes the entire parking lot listens to her cries. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
