Maryland's Romp Around the World, in support of IDOG, will be hosted by the Annapolis Area Doodles (Thanks Lisa!) on Saturday, April 23rd, 10 AM - 12 PM at Broadneck Park in Arnold, MD.  Lisa will be seeling raffles and raising money that will be donated to IDOG (International Doodle Owners Group).  For info, www.idog.biz  There is a link for directions to the park at:  www.annapolisareadoodles.com

I agree - we've taken Dexter to OBX in the past and we always stop at the same park in VA that Joe&Amy mention below (Chesapeake City Dog Park).  It's the top one on this website:  http://www.virginia.org/site/description.asp?attrid=36707

we travel from NJ to the Outerbanks every year with the pups.  There is a great reast area in Virginia  that has a huge off the leash run.  if memory servers me correct it is about a half hour over the Che-bay bridge.   I will check the exact location and let you know later.

I will be taken Banjo and Mandy on their first vacation. We will be travling by car. I was hopeing that someone might know of some good places to stop in Delaware, Maryland, and Virgina. I will be going south on route 13. looking for some place to let them get out and stretch their legs. Does anyone know of any places that we could stop?

Where are you located, Selma? There are separate state groups here on DK, too, where romps and meet-ups are posted. Check out all groups to see if there is a state group for your state.

Hi Marcia,  We currently live in New Brunswick.  We have a 2 year old goldendoodle and 7 month old ald and are always interested in play-dates.
