Mine are both F1's and couldn't be more different! Scrappy is your traditional scruffy muppet with curlier, thick coat.....no shedding at a 1 and 1/2 yr.
Her Dad was a white standard poodle and her Mom was a petite Golden.
Grover is going on 16 weeks and we're still waiting for him to doodle.....very Golden looking. He's slowly filling in, but his face is taking the longest to grow in. (where Scrappy looked like a miniature Golden Doodle at 4 months, very shaggy and already needed an eye trim) It appears that he's going to be a shedder, too. His Dad was a large red Golden Retriever and his Mom was a taupe Standard Poodle. He's a beauty regardless and we've looking forward to seeing how he'll turn out.

I am partial to the F1s too. Not just because I have one, but they just look so adorable with their shaggy hair. I love that! Other generations are too curly for my taste, but a doodle is a doodle and they are all adorable!

Teddy is an F1 - dad is a 9lb poodle, mom a golden retriever. He doesn't shed, and is a complete love. I am new to dogs and doodles, but love his teddy bear look (hence his name).

Both of mind are F1 . There are very different in looks.Love the way the each looks.

Thankfully I don't have dog allergies cuz BOTH of mine shed =)

Thanks for the invite Amberly and Hi everyone. I love the changes in the F1's from birth to a year old or so. Sadie will 4 mos old on the 28th and has changed so much already. I love the scruffy look too, like Tramp from Lady and the Tramp. As a kid he was my favorite so I guess I loved Doodles before there were Doodles.. lol.. destiny!!

Hi, I think F1's are the best too. But i'm probably prejudiced like you two. I love Beckett's scruffy look. Your dogs are the cutest too.
