Zoey was considered a cream labradoodle, but at 15 months is more white than cream. She has a little golden beige on her ears. Gypsy Rose is her sister from another litter and is black. She was the only black doodle in her litter. Their mom is brown with phantom markings and their dad is a light cream.

Ben used to be a mixture of apricot and tan but has lightened up the older he got. His ears and some parts are still apricot/tan but majority of him looks white :) Zoe is black, silver, grey,brown, orange, blue...but majority black :)

We used to be the black and sort of cream and apricot family, but now we belong here! Meet Lucy, 5 y/o GD and our newest family member, AnnaBelle, 4 months, GD.

This pic isn't the greatest, but most of my pics of AnnaBelle are just a blur as she won't sit still long enough for a photo.

Comment by Bonnie and Kona on May 8, 2011 at 11:37am: Kona is 4 years old and hard to photograph. Not only is it his dark coloring but he hates the camera! I've seen a post about other dogs that feel the way he does so I'm glad it's not just our big sweet boy. Owen is apricot/cream... He is 8 months and getting lighter. Kona started out pure black and is getting more and more silver, even at 4 years old. We got our dark guy first and never thought about keeping a lighter dog clean. oops. ;o) Both are F1 Goldendoodles and half brothers.

But - had I discovered the ease of keeping a black dood clean first - I may not have ever got a white one (but I love him dearly!! - especially when he's just had a bath) =)
