Comment by Anthony Leong on April 8, 2013 at 8:59am: I got Mari from Manor Lake and she's very beautiful, but the only negative thing is she very stubborn, hard headed puppy. Also, Mari had giardia when we got her from Manor Lake. Gave her the meds and the 1st test came back positive, my Vet gave me a different med the 2nd rd and the test finally came back negative. Bodi is Mari brother from the same litter. The parents are Ruby and Soupy.

We got Bodi from ML January 17th. Bodi is AWESOME but for the first 11 nights he cried on and off through out the night. I found out from another person who got a puppy from the same litter that his puppy had Giardia. I had my vet re-test for Giardia (there is a test that has to be sent out to a lab/ not the one done in the office) and it came back positive. We gave him Panacur and Metro for 10 days. Once he started the medicine he almost immediately slept through the night. Unfortunately we retested his stools after his rounds of meds and it was still positive so we did a second round of the medicine this time Panacur only. I just dropped off his stool last Friday and am waiting to see if he test negative or positive. Good luck!! Bodi is doing great overall!!

We r almost potty trained, but not completely, and she doesnt sleep thru the night yet in her crate. She's 3 1/2 mos old. She screeches a lot- anybody else with this issue? Also, thinking abt switching from TOTW to find a food that gives firmer number 2s! Any suggestions?20130304_112151-1-1-1.jpg

Hershey will sometimes have a formed stool that is surrounded by a greasy/jell substance. Giardia? Lots of good info at the following site. Click on the blue tabs for indepth info.
