We only have one doodle because that's all we can handle.  Oliver is very hyper and he doesn't like other dogs very well.  I don't think he would be able to share the attention.  One is enough.…Continue

One really works for us. We thought when we decided to get a Doodle we would start with one and then add another after she was one year old. We had heard stories that it was hard to bond with your…Continue

I am an "only" doodle because I like it that way! I am more than enough doodle for one mom.

Respectfully,

Jackdoodle

(PS- My mom said to tell you that she can't afford two of me!)

I am the anarchist of this group!! LOL!!  From the day we brought Rosey home I knew we, SHE needed a sibling.  She did not do well home alone, very sensitive and upset by that.  Plus we couldn't play with her enough to tire her out..  So 3 months later little Bandit arrived!! I have never looked back.  They are the best of friends and it really has worked.  Thankfully Bandit was a much easier dog and truth be told had I may not have felt that we needed another.  Sure it's harder to go to some places with two but I manage.  For me the pro's far outway the cons.  Just watching them interact, play, cuddle and whatever antics they get into is the light of my life:)

We only have Darwin, and we are happy with that for the time being. I've heavily considered if and when we should add another doodle. I flip flop around on this but for now I'm leaning on the "no" side. Darwin is a great dog, and such a perfect fit or our lifestyle. There are so man unknown aspects when you introduce a second dog... Basically we just don't want to mess with a good thing. :-)
