For anyone that may be interested, one of the students that I support in the college integration co-op program has been accompanying me and Gavin on our therapy visits. She has been taking photos and has developed a Facebook page for Gavin. Not sure if it is the time she spends with Gavin or the positive feedback she has been receiving, but she is really flourishing. If you would like to check out or LIKE the page please feel free to do so ;) Bonus, if you check us out you will see a picture of us with Julie (Julie and Max).We met on DK, then met in real life and now I see her all of the time because she is taking a course at the college where I work. DK really is the most wonderful place :)

WTG Dee Dee and Bentley!
Fantastic job, Dee Dee & Bentley!!!
Congratulations!
There are certain states which allow therapy dogs into the courtroom; I've spoken to Pet Partners about training dogs to do this, and fortunately, Jane Kopelman who is a certified Pet Partner trainer/evaluator has indicated she would be interested in working this out. There would need to be cooperation between the courts and Pet Partners, so the dogs could practice in a courtroom setting, and arrangements could be made to relieve the dogs, where the handler would sit and insurance issues. However, I do think it is on the horizon and it would be so great for the children we work with, who rely on Paz when they are being questioned or providing testimony.
Congratulations, Cathy and Fozzie. Great job!
